Just wondering if there would be much of a performance gain with a new intercooler, exhaust and a reamp compared to just a remap on a PD100?

Not sure about exact figures and power gains, but ive got a full miltek decatted TBE with a vrs cone in a box filter and it certainly spools up sooner and pulls for longer without a remap, so i would imagine itd see even better gains with a custom map!!

Sure some1 that knows more details will come along and correct me!!

I personally wouldn't bother with the IC, but a decat and a decent map I would recommend. My mate has a fabia PD100 ATD, and I'm actually quite surprised how quick it is. It's got the CAT cutout from the standard downpipe and using my old Cupra backbox (sticks out miles though), with VRS suspension and a custom map.
 
Doesn't really need the inter-cooler to be fair....but can be done....
100bhp to a maximum of 125bhp.....

My mates Golf TDI 110 went to 136bhp with a front mount, exhaust and remap.

I disagree, More than 125bhp is easily obtainable on the PD100 and more on the TDI 110 too.

Right...well I'm not professional but I know a few people that have been there and done that....Its not like I'm randomly picking figures ect...even though it might look like it to you.

My ATD Polo was running 138BHP with a Green panel filter, Cupra intake and a map. Whichever way you go, you probably want to spend a few quid on the brakes first...
 
Think I'll go for a full exhaust system with de-cat and maybe new intake, but not until its slammed on new wheels and tyres with new brakes :D
anyone know if mufflerectomy's have much effect?
