PD130 Idle / VAG COM

Just went to raise my idle using vagcom to reduce the vibration from my poly bush mount.
The idle was set at 840rpm and from what iv read it should be 900rpm so this is lower than standard and I have no idea why.
I adjusted the figures and got it to 882rpm which was value 32815 and I can enter any higher. I had read in a previous thread that people had raised it to 950rpm. Now im wondering why I cant get my value any higher, iv just nearly got it back to standard.

Just google to find it? Do I use the vag com lead?
Would like to find out why its so low though for peace of mind, could it be the revo remap?

Yeh just have a google about and you'll find it matey. And yeh same cable, use same com port.

I wouldn't worry about it, all probs abit different

Is lemmiwinks seperate from vagcom as the laptop vagcom is installed on is ancient and would download it onto my own laptop if it runs seperate from vag com. Is it the same principle with adjusting values and using adaption mode? I only know the basics with vagcom and read most of it off the internet

Yeh completely different program. And nope you just press an increase or decrease arrow on the different settings and press 'set' then cycle the ecu.

How do you cycle the ecu Scott?

Turn off ignition, remove key. Then put key in and switch ignition on?

Tried lemmiwinks and custom code today, wont connect with ecu. Iv read sometimes you need to pull out a certain fuse for it to connect with the ecu? Anyone shed some light?

Cant use unisettings either as im not using a usb cable and it says no usb cable selected

Apparantly it's the fuse for the instrument cluster you need to remove.

I've just raised mine through Vagcom. Was sitting at 840rpm, and I've raised it to 882rpm - This has cut out the shudder on mine, possibly because I don't have the uprated mount?

Sounds a lot better too, rather than having it chugging whilst stationary at a set of lights (Albeit it's only until its warm!)

Yup iv read about the fuse for instrument cluster. Pulled various fuses which I think are instrument cluster and all iv got is removing mileage display when ignitions off. Tried searching for which fuse it is and also looking at diagrams. Tried various combinations!
Mines alot smoother at 882rpm but id still like it that little bit higher toeet the claimed 900rpm standard idle and remove most vibration although882 has removed the annoying rattle I had. Just seems something so simple I cannot do due to no connection to ecu!
