Id run it for 5 minutes to circulate the forte (good stuff that) then give it a few blasts to clear the exhaust.

SOLVED

It was the camshaft position sensor

How easy was it to fix? Mine has been stuttering at 2,000rpm and it would be nice if there's a quick and cheap fix.

Its returned

Ordered a new oem cam position sensor from tps to see if that resolves it

searched that you said and been said broken wire over the sensor as the covering cuts though the wire, def worth a look at that, noted as well

Thank you

I did check the voltage and 2 of the pins read 5v and the other read 12v which I watched a video and these are what they should be reading so I'm confident I've eliminated that

The next thing that's being checked is the timing when the new sensor is put in at my uncle's garage as his had a few in the past which have not been timed properly

How old is the belt?
If the belt is stretched (old) the ecu could be picking up on the crank and cam pulleys not hitting the mark at the same point anymore.

It's a recently new belt looking at it , I suspect it could be the timing

Update

Van is now fixed finally!

Broken wire to fuel temperature sensor
Water corrosion in plug to crank position sensor

My advice with similar issues is not to change sensors to start with , get the wiring looked into first
