yes it dose if u dont belive ur not goin to get roudn a corner u will lift and go slower if you hav confidance u will make it you will keep it planted and be faster round the corner
or join Ryan Dunn at the pearly gates?
I think what we all need to take from this current erm disagreement, is that Kilner is in the unusual and financially unfavourable position of being able to comment on two of the most renowned De-DPF tuners, therefore unlike the rest of us that only have a one-sided view, myself included, he can comment on both and these are his personal experiences

confidence doesn't keep the car planted - there's a little more too it than keeping it planted...

Ur brains well scrambled now Andyi hav a pd170 gt tdi sport golf i hav had a jbs custome code dpf delete and stage 2 remap i got it dynoed i wasent happy i went out and found another tuner who put his map on my car and it ran the same power as the jbs map
but the new tuner map was just a trial map with low boost i hav now been back to that tuner and had my fueling readjusted and my boost set to the amount of boost i hav reserched is safe for this turbo 1.64bar
and all im saying now is my new map is a slight bit faster than the astra vxr uphill any one been to barnsley ? any 1 seen harbrough hills ? wel lfrom teh botom to the top he had a run up it and i had lost ground at the botom half way up we was side by side and at the top i was just infront
so the astra vxr is 239bhp standard i duno if this was standard or not but it must of been for me to be abel to do wat i did
so if my car dynos at 200bhp how can it compete with an astra vxr and dont tell me he wasent trying we all no wat the situation is like wen 2 people plant ther foot and go for it
you'll get shot by the cupra lads for comparing a vxr to them 
but yes i have seen harborough hills, ive also seen the 40 gatso at the top, its a decent hill though and the torque of the FR wouldve helped, from a standing start you shouldnt have won, but if you both got going before you started giving it some you shouldve won, weve all see the 5th gear episode between the vxr and the 888 cdti

sounds like maybe the vw golf only won the points then!!!nope but i played against a rover 220 coupe and got owned by it badly and also a corsa vxr owned me badly on the jbs map
the corsa had a front mount that so unsure wat mods was done was a fast little thing
liek i hav said im just givin my personal experianc and any one is welcome to come out for a test drive with me
and i dont go round corners fast i don tsee the point i allmost lost my life 6 years ago in a Road trafic colision so im not a twat in my car i just prefer to drag it as its not worth risking my car and my life to go round a corner a bit faster
i dont hav confidence in corners and im not ashamed to say it the risks arnt worth it
