Yeah I think thats a realistic price to aim for, you will probably sell it pretty quick as its a rare colour, it was 2nd choice after white.

Obviously you are gonna make more by selling your mods on, pm me with a list and prices of what your going to be selling.

The cupra is a nice car, I originally wanted 1 but couldn't justify the running costs hence buying the pd170.

Did you have the blutooth kit in your car prior to new headunit? i.e. with the steering controls to make calls, if so, what did you do? or are the buttons just obsolete now?

Thanks

Hi mate,

I do have Bluetooth, but the buttons only controlled the music.
(Mute, volume up/down, switch modes e.g radio to cd to sd card etc)

Hope this helps

What I mean is, are your left hand side steering wheel buttons the ones for the blutooth kit that comes in some of the leons, i.e. the pick up phone icon etc.

I only ask because I've been debating a new headunit for a while, but I have the blutooth kit which is really useful, and I don't like the idea of rendering the buttons on the left hand side of the steering wheel useless

Hmm tbh I don't quite remember if they worked with the aftermarket headunit. I always touched the screen as I thought it was easier for me, same with volume buttons I much rather twisting the knob for volume up/down. Sorry I can't be more of help but its probably around 1.5 years since I had my Leon :/

From experience fitting stereos the handsfree s/w control buttons won't work with an aftermarket unit, only audio functions i.e. skip forward/back, source, mute and volume. Mine in my FR are this way too. I think you can buy some adaptors from Parrot for the S/W functions to work for the bluetooth when you fit a Parrot bluetooth system, as for with an aftermarket stereo I don't think so

Can I just ask ya WILLz17 is the above picture of your air intake worth doing?

How does it sound?

Has it affect the day to day driving of your car, I.E has it effected the power delivery or made the car lumpy?

I'm looking @ options for my current exhaust setup, as I want a bit more noise/roar but don't really want to lose my standard Remus tail pipe setup, and I've been considering adding an air intake @ the same time, but I was worried that a cone/warm air intake setup like yours would effect power output?

Hey buddy,

If you want noise then an open cone filter gives alot of that.
You get darth vader in your glove box lol and in terms of performance it does help the car breath better resulting in slightly better throttle response.

My car with stage 2 map made 215bhp which isn't bad for diesel :)

Hope this info helps

As you can see mine had a 2.75" straight through exhaust with no silencers and no DPF. That along with an air filter will give you what your after mate :)

Andrewjb when he had his diesel he went 3" exhaust and he said it was so loud that it was stupid to drive lol, that's why I went with a 2.75" which is perfect :)

Hope that sums up everything
Will

Edit: regarding the DPF I would try to avoid this now as its getting more serious in terms of MOT etc.

I had mine gutted so visually it was still there but no internals ;) sneaky sneaky haha

It was a custom one so I had a good deal and exactly how I wanted it :) unfortunately I don't remember how much I paid as it was quite a while ago now :/ I sold the car to steveo and I think he's sold the car aswell but kept some parts so might be worth dropping him a PM for a bargain :) he's on my friends list if you can't find him
