As most of you know I've got more boost leaks then I can poke a stick at :D lol my question does the leak effect peak boost or should it peak then drop

At the moment it peaks at 17 drops to 10 and as far as I'm awere stage 2 boost should be around the 21-24 mark

Also will the ecu pull the boost back if it's leaking? Coz when I turn it up with sp3 switch it doesn't change at all :confused:
 
Just wondered if the ecu would pull it back? Or leaks would stop it peaking so I can have it all checked Thursday instead of taking in (for leaks fixed ;)) and then having to back if it doesn't start to boost at stage two boost
 
As said above fix all your leaks then you will hold the right amount of boost , how can you hold 22psi with holes all over the place lol try drinking through a straw with holes all up it , it just won't work
 
I'm not on about holding boost I'm on about PEAK boost simple question does a leak effect how hi it peaks? I know it won't hold as I said it goes from 17-10 that's a drop all I want to know is will the ecu hold the boost back if there's a leak? Or will a leak stop it peaking as hi as it should?

I have no leak codes and car goes in Thursday so if the ecu won't hold it back or tge won't stop it peaking then I need to try and find out why it only peaks at 17 and not 21
 
Thank you sam :) so I'll get the work done and see how it fans out then if it's still won't peak at what it's supposed to then I will have to look into the software or something
 
Sam - your a MOOK! Get your car fixed, bumper sorted, dipstick mended, sieve of boost hoses done and everthing else thats wrong with it!! :p hahahahaha
