Has anyone had their Formentor’s slam the breaks on thinking someone is going to step in front of it? On Wednesday evening I was driving through Tunbridge Wells traveling at about 20mph when 3 people walked across the right hand side of the road stopping in the central part of the road waiting to cross the left lane (there was a paved section for them to stand in)when without warning the car did a full blown emergency stop and wouldn’t let me over ride it. I have to say the breaks are really powerful and if they had of crossed the road the car would have prevented an accident with them. The issue was it wouldn’t let me over ride it until we had stopped which meant we then took of like a scalded cat as I had pressed the accelerator hard trying to stop the breaking. I’m just glad there wasn’t a car close behind me or I’m sure it would have hit me. I done over 3000 miles in two months and not had any major problems so loving the car to bits and would get another one.

In the menu there is a setting for how sensitive emergency brake feature is. I am not sure whether you can disable it completely.
