Naughty North!
As title says, is there such a thing? Or is it possible to fit one from another vehicle and get a slight improvement on performance compared to original one?
On the way home from work last night my MAF sensor gave up. A bit of roadside "fixing" and all was back to normal, but i thought if you could get an uprated one, then why not

The MAF is not something that you want to 'fake out'.

The one that is on your car (depending on type) gives correct density and flow measurements, which are essential for correct engine management.

The best place to alter any values is at the source (ECU map)

The Merc petrol MAF probes end up giving poor performance.

The only good, performance MAF is a new or cleaned one. Just clean it regular and it will keep you going. The petrol boys fit bigger MAFS but unless you change the map to suit your just wasting your time
