Many thanks to everyone for all the great comments!

GTi is too far away for me at this time of year sorry (had it been during the school holidays then maybe). :(

What now? After I finish up changing intercoolers I intend to drive it and enjoy it as much as possible! :D :funk:

Nice article guys, got myself a copy yesterday. Songman> you coulda clipped the middle of your front splitter back in before the photo shoot  (or at least it looks like its popped out). Seriously though, both top motors, it's good to see performance Seat's in a VW mag, kinda irons out any badge snobbery. Impressive stuff [B)]

p.s. delock that drivers door will ya, that is one seriously nickable car

Oops there:blink: sorry about the spoiler - you don`t miss much! - bet you work for MI6!
I know one should aim for perfection on prestigious occasions such as a PVW photoshoot, however, when a spoiler which is 3" off the ground and travelling at 90ft/sec, meets a stationary bunny which is 6" tall - ah well!  - didn`t have time to change it!

In truth the car is not really pampered to any great extent - I do give it the occasional wash and polish same as everyone - but as such, I am amazed at the way it looks, considering that it`s three years old and heading for 85000 miles!!

It`s used every day, rain or shine, and all in all, I think it does VAG and Seat great credit, considering the extent to which it has been modified - well done hombres!

Hopefully it should give some inspiration to those who would like to mod their Leon, but who are not presently in a situation which allows them to do so.:)

I've been looking everywhere for a copy of PVW, my girlfriend found one in the local Spar of all places :p

Excellent read & great pics! Awesome cars! :D

I agree, it's good to see Seat's featured in a VW mag - hope to see more in the future!

I`m hoping to make GTI Inters, so i`ll look forward to meeting you - I really enjoyed the show in 2006!
I`m hoping too, to shave a few tenths off the abysmal 1/4 mile time I managed last year.

As for the future projects, well the LCR will stay as it is for now - I couldn`t part with it - at 100,000 miles, well i`ll do a general refirb - paintwork ,mechanics and the rest and we`ll see what`s new on the mod front with regards to the engine.
I am reluctant to change it too much, because, all things considered, it is such a good general `day to day` car.

As to the immediate future - well I`m up for a real trip into `auto-insanity`, with the arrival in June of my new Corvette C6Z06.

Even in standard form, this car is a M-M- Monster - 7.0 ltr V8, 512 bhp DIN and 470lbs/ft torque in 1421kgs - :help: - and I`ve just found out that they`re now doing turbo kits for it too:think:

Just read the article - top effort guys, both cars look fantastic, and it was nice reading about the journeys they've had to get that way! Inspiration for the rest of us, thats for sure... Keep up the good work

about time a few guys got some recognition for all their hard work, i seen both your cars at a detailing day at star last year, flying the flag for us jocks, and everyone else in the SEAT community in general. hopefully other guys will take up the torch and get more SEATs in the magazine, sixpots car is another beauty and i'm sure there's more kicking about.
