Im sure I didn't have this prob with my 1.4, but has anyone else with *well kept* nails looked like a plonker at petrol stations trying to open the petrol cap flap.

Every time I now get the nail clippers out, the first thought that crosses my mind is *do I need petrol* lol   :D

Are you feeling alright Smithy? Stop worryingabout your nails!

Smithy,

I can't beleive that you've publicly humiliated yourself like this !!! ;)

Right, next time you go out to the car, stand facing the petrol cap, extend your right index finger, and push on the RIGHT hand end of the petrol cap flap, and you will miraculously find that the left hand end pops open allowing you to stop acting all camp and fill 'er up with Petrol !!!

You Tart !!! :p

failing that.. just take the cap off all together..

and call me, i know this great nail salon, they could give you a really nice manaciure!

::slap:: there you smithy - feel better now ?

ps- dont lock the doors until after you filled up ;) does help

especially on a 5 hours old renault espace i broke one nite - ooops sorry boss

I think I've had a shocker here, is it possible to be THAT blonde! lol

Apologies for such an anal thread, I think because my 1.4 was easily opened from the left that it's never crossed my mind to push the hinge side in. *holds head in shame* lol
