Well I hate them! I have a 2 tonne trolley jack and 2 tonne axle stands but as I'm soon low my jack doesn't go under the car so have to jack car up using the paper jack then stick the trolley one under it.

And the falling on me it only stayed up cause me and my dad Bo the stopped it from falling properly over lol

Use both then. Widow maker to raise it high enough to get trolley under!

Or just buy a low profile jack

Or drive it onto a chuck of wood/bricks

Was it on flat ground? Mine fell of once but only when i jacked it up on a hill (wheel fell off while i was driving)

Didn't damage car just f*cked the jack!

If its the rear i jack it up below the spring then stick the stands on the rear beam (before they bend)

And i jack the whole rear of the car up rather than one side.

For the fronts i just use the sills (where the widow maker goes) with a jacking pad. I leave the stands on the sills too. I hate jacking up the front.

I dont know where else to jack it up at the front, i was going to jack it up on the wishbone but decided against it!

Yea I jack mine up on the wishbone mount at front and last time I used axle stands on front I put them on the boxes that run down each side of the underside of the car.

I can't do the rears like that as I have the white line RARB which runs across the beam :(

And no my drive is slightly uphill but only by like 15cm incline across a 5metre drive???
