That looks phat  I don't know how low your last cupra was, but I'd say watch out for those speedbumps, curbs and multistory carparks, as that LCR splitter is sitting real low to the ground with the suspension so low. How many times did you have to fill up already ;) ?

Last Cupra was/is down 30mm on 17"...

God knows how low this is, but its on Coilovers, will adjust tomorrow when 17s go on...

Still on petrol from last night :D Had 3/4 tank when I left the Shell garage nr where I bought it... has just under 1/4 tank now lol

nice pictures fitting the mesh in front of the FMIC would finish it off nice

Yeah, hope so, will protect £900 too lol

Very nice Mike

Cheers Buddy...

As for the privacy bit... well... I have IHI now ;)

haha

that looks sweet mike.......... you lucky sod! :D

Cheers buddy, will bring it to next meet :D

Mike, the head unit needs replacing to sort the not going off fault, or thats the general idea I got when searching for head unit issues, mine sometimes turns the head unit on for a bit then goes back off when the car is off.

TCS light, again if its refusing to go off after three stop / starts chances are its the MAF, mine just did this coming back from Awesome GTI on Saturday, new MAF and the job's a good 'un.

I again was mad enough to spend the money on my car instead of buying a pre-done one (had several offers) only reason for this is I know my car, and every fault or niggle with it has been sorted over the last year and I didn't want to have to go through it all again... fortunatly I think you've got a car where the last owner has gone through all the headaches before you!!

Ah righto, new HU or new Fascia panel? I can test this with the Blue Cupra's fascia actually...

Spoke to Jabba, they can get me another MAF, just need to give them the code off this one...

Mad yes, but also worth it...YES.... I just couldn't do it, plus the Blue Cupra has 77K miles on it now... best to leave that at Stage II... Guy I bought it off has really done the works on this car, its just down to me to personalise and fix a few issues that any Ibiza gets.... :D

Looking good there Mike, i'm sure its better in the flesh.

You had better be bringing it along to the Bucks meet. People can form an orderly queue behind me for passenger rides in it. :p

Good answer :D

But...How easy is this? Can it be reversed? ie If I get the MAF of Blue Cupra and try it out, can it go back on Blue Cupra OK?

I have swapped MAF housings loads, but never taken a housing apart....

Mike

can you use a screwdriver?

just undo the bolts & pull it out.

probably find they're "safety torx", which is a special head
