I must admit to using resistors for the Number plate SMD bulbs.

The rear LED brightness is found in cent elec, coding, then use the drop down menu for the voltage 12.3 for min and 13.6 for max IIRC It does make them quite a bit brighter.

Same with the DRL's too

You can also up the brightness of the xenons but I didn't bother as I don't want to blind people.

I think you can disable bulb cold diagnostics with VCDS, this turns off all bulb failure wanrnings though.

Just a quick update, the rear LED's don't like being on full brightness. They flicker, so I've backed them down a little so as to stop the flickering.
