Hi All

Picked up our ex-demo Facelift V2 Hybrid in Magnetic Grey at the weekend (still have the Leon so the Ibiza made way for this).

Not the best weather for it but seems good so far. Only thing that may need looking at is a squeaking driver's side window - thought I saw a thread about this but can't see it now.

Quite a bit to get used to. like size and trying to get the driving position spot on, but g/f loves it and its her car so that's the main thing :) . It does look smart, may treat it and get it Professionally Ceramic Coated (Wax is Dead Ultra) that will make its weekly wash easier and give me more time to spend on the Leon and MR2.

Any hints or tips gratefully received, oh and PS is there a way to get Speed Cameras to show on the Map?

Welcome...connect your phone and use Waze if you want speed camera info. That's the easiest way as far as I am aware. Also has a audio warning if you are over the speed limit and there is a camera ahead.

Cheers Villabrand, yeh thats what ill do.

Not that I tend to speed, but I have a long journey up to Yorkshire in a couple or weeks and don't want to be caught out doing a few miles over the limit.

I haven't made any adjustments to my car and it always gives me a BingBong when I go over the speed limit. I assumed it was 'on' by default?

Thats the Speed Warning, you can disable that if you wish (along with the lane assist) either via the Infotainment Screen or the button on the steering wheel (left hand side , Press the Assist button (pop up on the driver's screen) > then use the right hand side scroll wheel to select or deselect on or off). Although its not that intrusive so i dont have a real problem with it.

I'm going to remind myself to read post properly before responding!
