Just can't stay away! Should be picking up a Black Mk3 Cupra, unmolested (bar Scorpion exhaust) on Saturday :)

Will be my third (but our 4th) Mk3 Cupra, just leaves a yellow to complete the collection (maybe in the future...hhmmm).

Will get some pics up in a bit, only got the ones from the advert at mo.

So will be on the look out for:

Boost gauge (unlikely I know)
007P or BV30
Boot liner (this one seems to have lost it!)

Cheers :D

Cheers Phil :D

Well this time I am gonna control the wallet (rather than the other way round).

I looked at my old boost gauge thread, and see Halfords still sell theirs at £30 (what did you get at £25 seatcupramad23?)

Looks like the directcarparts link doesn't work so I'll need to source a holder too.

If you don't mind having a gauge reading in bar rather than PSI, you can pick up a new Autometer Phantom for around £27, they show vac as well as pressure and go up to 2bar which is more than enough :)

Nice car BTW, looks like a well looked after example

I wanted one that was looked after, ideally with a few mods, but I'll take what i can get. As a daily driver it'll do just fine :)

I can't remember if standard Cupra boost on a K03 is 5PSI or 7PSI? Can someone confirm before I freak if/when I fit the boost gauge? LOL

All I remember is Stage II peaking 21 holding 19, or over 28Psi with the IHI lol

Picked it up :)

Already removed the ugly engine cover, drilled the airbox, and repainted the "Cupra" wording on front and back badges. Window wiper was set weird to so rectified that :D

Spacers, Forge DV and boot trim to collect on Thurs :)

Boost gauge and holder to be bought or, gained ;)

Proper clean and debadging tomorrow (if it stays dry)

:D :D

What's wrong with them? Matches the standard dials.

theres everything wrong with them. tacky horrible things imo. autogauge big thumbs down autometer thumbs up (ultra lites are nice) all you need to pay is 15/20quid extra and you dont have a pov style gauge. or i have a all singing all dancing defi if your interested mike.

I hate shite gauges
