top man, you wont regret the move, it'll make a big differance with that london route of yours, what chop in did you get for your FS in the end??

I'm not regretting it one bit, loving the car a lot :funk: the motorway driving is effortless and it's so much fun on smaller roads too. I got just under 6K for FS which is not too bad but the new one is very clean and only done 16... well now 17000 miles :D

Couple of questions. Hearing a rattling sound comingfrom what sounds like engine bay now and again. When I notice it is under medium to hard acceleration or around 80mph. Is this the engine rubbers do ya reckon or is it a new noise I wont have had in FS? Also can anyone with a cupra tell me if there is an interior light which lights up ash tray/lighter area and in the glove box like I had in the FS or am I making that up?

Just read that article, thanks.

I've read a couple of places about how harsh the ride is on the Cupra TDI, but that's completely not my experience. I've found the Ibiza FR to be much harsher, the Cupra is a little softer but more controlled.

Perhaps when they are brand new the suspension is hard but settles down after a while? Mine's done almost 60k so I don't know what it was like brand new.

I have no Boot, glovebox or ashtray light, is this normal??

Its a pain in the arse scouring around the boot in the dark trying to find stuff.

Thought I'd already replied to this, but you should have a boot light as mine does and I'm sure all models do. Try searching for the bulb (left hand side) and checkin that

Picked mine up this afternoon, looks Identical and I'm really happy with it too, going from a Ibiza 130 TDI Sport.

does your car rattle just between 2000rpm and 2500rpm when you put yor foot to the floor? i have this problem i posted a thread on hear and somebody said it could be the intercooler piping vibrating against the fuel filter housing. here is a link 2 the thread hope it helps. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?p=2626907#post2626907
