Hey, id appreciate it if you could give me some advice on my dash.

was cleaning out my car and put some stuff on my dash (plastic spoons  )
they have completly lodged down between the dash and the window... does anyone know how to take the dash out, or how to lodge the spoons out.

pretty embarrasing!

..... tried to get them out with certain things but they have pretty much dissapeared so any advice would be great.

thankyouuu:)

I'd have thought the easiest way would be by taking the windscreen out... but then that means paying autoglass or someone to remove it an re-seal it properly... Id rather pay for that than pull the dash out - theres enough rattles as it is without starting new ones off!

If you remove the pannel that is just above the pedals then move the drivers seat back or maybe remove it. lay on your back in the footwell and shine a torch up behind the speedo and get to the bit where the dash meets the screen.

That's the easy way I reckon

If it's the passenger side you can remove the glove box and do the same.

How about a hoover? I used a screwdriver to flick out a pen on a mondeo when this happened?

Maybe worth a try.

I dropped a nut off my tax disc holder a few months ago down the front left of the dash. I removed the panel on the left edge of the dash (with door open), removed the seal around the door, followed by the "A" pillar. This gave me enough room to use wooden kebab skewers to get it out.

try a long coat hanger wire. If I get a chance on Friday (I'm rebuilding my front end) I'll have a look and see how the dash comes out...

Put a cloth underneath it when you do it... stops you loosing the screws ;)
