please help sort my problum

hi there i have a vw polo saloon based on a cordoba its a 2000 tdi model and the problum is when i bougth the car 3 months ago the window wipers would go off randohm once in a blue moon then it started be comming more often then it was like the passengers one wasnt going qwite as fast and the drivers one would hit against it now there on from the moment i turn the car on unless i pull the realy out it still works in fast mode without them parking tho tryed its DRIVEN ME INSANE

av read thougth a lot of these and people ask when the phantom wipers come on dose your wiper stawk let you ajust the setting and yeah mine dose they come on in slow speed and the only adujstment i can make is fast speed

av tryed about 4 diffrent realeys for the scrapys ones on car that av done 50 k and aye got a motor and regulatour from one that had done 70k i fitted that yesterday and its still the same and the realy number i changde was number 19

Good auto spark could probably sort it for about the same money as yourself by the time you buy all the relays and bits and bobs and do it quicker for you. If one wiper is going at a different speed from the other does that not mean the linkage is broken?

Av seem to have found the problum its the wiper stawk its self if u push it to towards the dash gently the wipers park so my next qwestion is how do u get the steering wheel off and do all 2000 models ie lupo polo ibiza have the same wiper stawk

It's not to hard. Disconnect the bat and wait a while before taking the air bag off. Then remove the steering wheel after you've made sure the wheels are dead ahead. Remove the steering column cowls I think there are some ackward screws and clips after that, a bit of wiggling and scrapped knuckles and then they come off. Fit the new one and put it all back together with a bit of locktite or thread seal. viola.
