pm's & members profiles

hi all , a quick question for you boffins

for some reason i can click on certain members and view profile / have option to pm etc

but there are others which when i click does nothing so cant pm them etc

anything im doing wrong or is it that persons profile to how they set it up i,e not for public view

maybe the member's privacy settings on their profile mind ??

can you list any you find a problem with and i'll try em too if ya like ?

Fl@pper - don't forget the user may have 'Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators' flagged.

Andrew - this is why we insist on other forms of contact (other than PM) in our adverts.

ok so its not me then
thought my settings were restricted to a kids level under age - 5 or something

so its to do with a particular user how they set themselves up as being public or private etc and only recieve pms from admin
