Polishers

Thinking of purchasing this little lot:

Dont know anything about machine polishers, never used one before but this seems a safe option with decent polish.

Do you experts reckon this a good deal or is there a better option out there?

I have that kestrel polisher and it has served me well so far, no complaints!

What polish and pad combo do you use? Seems to a never ending choice.

A mix to be honest. I've used many different pads and polishes. Mainly a light abrasive pad with super resin polish and then a finishing pad with victoria concours wax. Once in a while I wash, clay, limeprime, megs 3 stage, srp and wax the car to keep it looking good under the wax

have polished bliss got any of there kits back in stock? ive got a menzerna hard paint kit and it is very good. and good value too.

I have read great reviews about the hexlogic pads from chemical guys. might give them a go in the spring

I'll keep my eye on them and see what deals there are. No rush in this weather.

worth considering te menzerna polishes in the 250ml trial sizes as well... your only going to need to machine the car once every 6 months or so. you may as well go for the smaller sizes of polishes rather than spend money on the bigger bottles that you arent going to use.
