Poll: hids what brightness?

Just thought id make up a polll because im wanting to get a set of hids for the cupra. my friend has 8ks on his mk2 golf n they are lush but wanted to see all of my fellow beezas what u thought. where you got them and how much for would be good to and maybe some night time shots with them on! thanks

None of the above. 4300K will give you the best possible light out of all the HID kits. Dont go getting some chavy as fook 6000 kit

5000k are MUCH better than 6000ks

Agree with Myki that 43k is the best lighting, but 6k is more interesting and stands out more if you're a bit of a tart like me!! LOL.

i bought a set around two weeks ago in 6000k and dont think they are chavvy at al now 8000k thats chavvy all blue with jack all light. just my opinion no offence meant.

Day light is 5600K So try to keep between 4000-6000 on the kelvin scale and you will be fine

I havent seen 6k before but as stated my m8 has 8k on his mk2 golf and they are well bright. they look really blue though, is the 6k pure white or a blue tinge?

i have a set of 6k HIDs and i dont think they are too chavy, and i dont own any iteam of burberry clothing

I think anything over 6k and it does start to look abit pants. Can only go by what i have and i think 6k are just fine imo

I have 6k's and they only have a hint of blue for the first few seconds while they heat up, then its just white light after..

Bought a set of 6Ks from Diane Shop on Ebay last week but not fitted em yet. From the pics I've seen on here they look about right though, only the very slightest hint of blue

I've got chavy 8k's on the bike, Cupra and the Warrior

And one thing's for sure no one could ever say they didn't see the bike coming toward them at a junction Now i've said that just watch this space!

i have 8000k and they are really bright will be getting 6 or 5k at some point as they are a bit bluey for me im no chav but 8k are bloody bright no matter what anybody says you dont want to go looking into them.

I have 55w 5000k and they are the birghtest i have seen by far, the light emited by them is much easier to pick up when driving and is a much more usefull colour in my opinion than 6000k
