Tbh i think 6000k are about the highest you can go...

Mine are 6000k and there abit blue....You can defo see better...

Standard zenon's or HID's are all fitted from factory with 5000k, the blue tint that you get is the "rainbow" effect fron the projector lens

I love the 'sparkle' effect the projectors give! I've noticed that Lexus are the worst ones for blinding! Like they're set too high, oh and the faggot Rangerover Sport's with their lights being head level anyway and can't see a damn thing with one of those behind you!

4300k are the best for lighting the road up. I have 8000k myself, bought them a while ago but would rather have 6000k now. 8000k are still very bright though.

6000k, nice and white with a slight tint of blue. Not chavy at all, got a set on both of my cars, anything higher and its too blue/purple.


Also, the number isnt to do with brightness, its to do with the colour temperature, althought the high up the Kelvin temp range the less luminescant it becomes.

These are Standard factory 4300K (yellowish white), 5000K crystal white with no blue tint, 6000 crisp white light with delicate to moderate blue tint, and 8000K strong blue light. The highest light output is 4300K and the lowest 8000K

i had my hids in my last car which had projector headlights and they were really colourfull on anything wether it was night or day not that i drive round with lights on all the time because i dont. but i did test it lol. i will be getting 6000k bulbs though as i dont like my headlights to stand out majorly.

None of the above. 4300K will give you the best possible light out of all the HID kits. Dont go getting some chavy as fook 6000 kit

I have 6k's and they only have a hint of blue for the first few seconds while they heat up, then its just white light after..

Same here Damoegan and i have 6k ones

good idea mate, would be good for people buying hids to look at a sticky thread with pictures of mk3 ibizas with the different coloured hids they have fitted.
