Polo Gti manifold for Ibiza 1.4 sport.

I have an Ibiza 1.4 sport on an 07 reg.
Been told the exhaust manifold off a polo gti will fit. So I've found a polo gti. It's a 2001 model. 1.6 16v. It's a 6N2. Anyone know if this will fit ? I need to be certain before I buy it cos he wants £50 for it. Not
much I don't want to throw it down the drain in the middle of a recession .

i thought most of the later models had man-cat's? manifold with a catalytic converter as one

what engine code is your car ?

mine has a cat and a sensor in it, coz i was looking at one of a polo gti but thought it would be a major fail on emissions?

It will fit yes and remove the first cat. You will need a lambda boss welding into the downpipe tho.
Won't bring any light on as for emissions yer you will maybe struggle and I have one for sale........

Never fit mine as my downpipe is different to yours haha
