WOWWWWWWW! thats amazing mate!

Loving the manifold, also interested to know who did it for you and also how much wedge?

Is that a GT35??

Yup same as hooches just with the 4" anti surge option, Good thing these V-Band connectors, a GT35 would just bolt on to the original setup.

Lance at OJZ engineering is the guy who did mine, in nottinghamshire, mention that Raj sent you and he will do a good deal for any of you guys on here..:)

Hi all,
Not sure why runner 1 is different... I think its because of the space issue and the brake servo being close, or maybe it just ended up there:lol:
They are equal length primaries all approx 13".

The 310H is 5mm thick i think and sch40 is just less than 4mm..

Im getting mapped by JBS hooch, they mapping it with the AVCR and 3BAR map sensor.

Just heat wrapped the D/P and wastegate pipe, and making the coilpack cover!

As for heat issues, I think my setup will be better than turbo lower down setups because its right next where the bonnet ends and near the water deflector so if I get a vent up front it will cause an air vacuum and should get rid of the heat when on the move much better than most BT setups

Thanks for the feedback guys!

My advise.

If anything is in eyeline from turbo hotside it will melt.
You must cover/insulate over the exhaust housing, DP and anythign else... gear shift cables..

last thing you want is all the hard work going up in smoke - litterally.

going to be tricky routing large intake pipe on the reverse mount.

narrow angle merge collector is more important than equal length runners.

What thats then Bill??

My mani look good? U have seen dozens im sure!

Do even the gear shift cables need sheilding??
Just finished the D/P and wastegate, think I should get out my 4mm aluminium sheet and cover things up!

Thanks!!

narrow angle collector is were the 4 runners merge together. they want to be as near to parralel as possible. but they cant be parrellel.

as for 'my mani look good?' you wont know untill its run. it can look a peice of art but be a pile of crap......like rs fabs manis lol

i think im breaking mine now :(

Dont break it after all that effort!

Hooch mate how much did your mani set u back?

What material is it made from?

Im struggling to make a ECU bracket!

If my metal bracket is touching the body, obviously will earth the ECU, is that OK??

And one more thing guys, my RMR mani uses -6an pipes but they are slighty big for the original plastic pipe push on connections going to the back of the car....
I put a jubiliee clip round and squashed the pipe but very doubtfull it will hold soo much pressure!
Any ideas...

Thanks!

yea, yours looks ok, sits very high stating the obvioius.
yours has narrow angle merge collector which is going to be good for flow

Anything and everything within sight of the runners or downpipe will need serious heat shielding believe me.
The radiant heat from the runners is immence.

Good plan. Breraking will bring in more cash to plough into your estate (which I think is way cooler :))

Quick update guys, fitted the intake side!! Somehow it just about fitted and the filter stays cool so far!
Fired it up yesterday and I totally forgot about the oil cooler so oil spat out soo fast and sprayed the rad and fans!
Dropped it off to the Experts JBS today for mapping, but I took it without the front bumper bcos it dont fit nomore, but they map on-road so got a slight issue there :( ... The Tech guy wasnt there so up to him if he's willing to drive and map without the bumper on (Police stopping problems) . Left it there and hoping for the best!

Not much but a short clip of the intake and firing the car up... sounds loud but sweet!

how did you get on?

Hello all... took the car to jbs, rushed everything abit to be honest just so I can make it on time!
Basically I had a few probs that needed sorting before they can fully map it but they put a gt3071r file on for me so I can run things in and makesure everything is running right before I take it back for tweeking..
The file is for their 450hp gt3071R conversion, but with standard intake, 550injectors, standard tb and a few other things.

I have left the boost controller off so its running 1bar at the moment but it does move!
taking it jbs on tuesday for final mapping so should be much better then I hope.. running 1bar it feels like 300bhp so im kinda wondering how an extra .5bar is going to give me 450hp! but lhoping for the best!

Just got my engine damper so fitting that to keep things in place, and the mani is so far so good!
