Hi,

let´s make a pool to see the buyers age of seat leon.

In a video interview at the recent Geneva Motor Show, SEAT's chairman said that the average age of SEAT car buyers was the youngest among car-makers in Europe - a mere 44 years! He also said that this is about eight years younger that the average age of new car buyers in Europe, which must therefore be around 52. (And if this is the average, there must a be a lot of considerably older buyers as well!).

It's not absolutely clear whether he's talking about all makes of car or just the VAG group, but he does say that SEAT buyers are eight years younger "than the rest of the industry".

I suppose it's something to do with many older people having paid off their mortgages and got rid of their kids, giving them money to spend on cars. Also the high cost of insurance (in the UK, at least) must put many younger drivers off buying new cars.

Here in Portugal ppl with 44 are driving station wagon or SUV , hatch is for the young ppl.
But what a hell I'm feeling young and I love hatches, i miss a bit my civic type r.

Easy... Needed the space, didn't want FR and the 1.8 isn't available with DSG. I wouldn't buy a diseasel if it was half the price! So 1.2 it is!

Remember the ST only actually weighs 45kg more than the 5 door... So if you have a diesel 5 door its heavier than a 1.2 ST

i'm 70 and love my 1.4tsi 140 PS. In a few years time I can see a Cupra on the drive!

BTW in Spain you have to have a medical every 5 years at my age and that includes a driving simulator and all the rest!
