It is unfortunate you have had a bad experience with them, for my part I have found them mainly ok. They diagnosed the problem with my drivers seat and replaced it under warranty beyond my warranty period, although I guess the decision was made by Seat. Westerham failed to diagnose the seat, and said 3 other cars they had, did the same thing, (so they must be broken too?)
They also replaced my cambelt, waterpump and the tensioner under warranty as the tensioner had gone noisy, also out of warranty period, but it had taken a while to find the noise and I do a lot of miles.
Overall I prefer to take my car to Westerham, partly because of service but mainly because is on my way to work.
I guess you get good and bad at any dealership.

Dont talk to me about damage, I had a Vectra that went in for a service and they managed to rip the bonnet off it, by driving into someting when it was raised, then had the cheek (or mistake) to charge me for bonnet struts. When I finished, they had paid my hire car fees and the fuel I used (even though I had put it on my fuel card!). It was obviously a vauxhall garage I went to.

Overall I think Seat dealerships have been better than others I have been to.

to be honest fr rush i think there is more to this than meets the eye ?
dont you agree ?

i welcome anybody who has a geniune gripe or complaint with hidsons seat (maidstone) to email me.

lets get it right
lets get it sorted

As I outlined in another thread, we welcome and support, constructive critisism of dealers and other services, with the aim of producing a better result for everyone, happier customers and better and more profitable dealerships, but we're often put in the position of not knowing the full story, and we can't be objective in what we allow to be published.

We rely on the poster to be factual and accurate.

There is obviously a grievance here, but I am finding it difficult to accertain what is actually going on here, it is ultimately the role of the dealer and customer to come to a reasonable conclusion to this, seems to me at the moment there is a communication breakdown going on.

If this is a genuine critisism, it deserves to be aired, but if it becomes just a rant, it gets no-one anywhere fast and will be removed.

Remember the opinons of the poster do not reflect SEATCupra.nets position, and we certainly remove any posts proven to be un-factual or damaging.

My email is always open for discussion.

Must admit, never had any problems with Hidson's at Maidstone. Not really dealt with Rainham, but my imminent house move is just up the road from them :)

Has been previously mentioned that the dealer you buy the car from will endeavour to give better after-sales service in order to re-sell to you again.

having said that, i've only ever had poor service from 1 dealer who basically told me to "f~ck-off" coz i obviously couldn't afford the car i was looking at :wtf:
twat lost a sale, as i bought a similar vehicle from a nearby dealer :)

Seems this grievance is more personal than generic?? or am i getting the wrong vibes?

only feeding back the result of whats happend in the end , thats it. no nastyness just the result.
