It is unfortunate you have had a bad experience with them, for my part I have found them mainly ok. They diagnosed the problem with my drivers seat and replaced it under warranty beyond my warranty period, although I guess the decision was made by Seat. Westerham failed to diagnose the seat, and said 3 other cars they had, did the same thing, (so they must be broken too?)
They also replaced my cambelt, waterpump and the tensioner under warranty as the tensioner had gone noisy, also out of warranty period, but it had taken a while to find the noise and I do a lot of miles.
Overall I prefer to take my car to Westerham, partly because of service but mainly because is on my way to work.
I guess you get good and bad at any dealership.
Dont talk to me about damage, I had a Vectra that went in for a service and they managed to rip the bonnet off it, by driving into someting when it was raised, then had the cheek (or mistake) to charge me for bonnet struts. When I finished, they had paid my hire car fees and the fuel I used (even though I had put it on my fuel card!). It was obviously a vauxhall garage I went to.
Overall I think Seat dealerships have been better than others I have been to.
