Ive got the 8v and ive got problery the stupied sized back box on the back of the car ive ever seen, (Oooh its coming off its loud too loud) I cant see any marks on there of who makes it but its makes a perfect rally sound when you come down gears and start to drop revs, Almost the same as my WRX but with out the massive dum vale kicking in too

on my 1.4 ive just got a midbox, then it splits into 2 and goes to 2 big dtm tailpipes out the back. if i lift of and just tap the throttle ever so slightly it crackles and pops does it on command!
got rid of the midbox for a straight pipe for a day, that was really loud, and pretty raspy lol

My 8v used to pop when going down the revs, discovered after some time that this was due to a dirty throttle body. Loved the sound though.

Just curious... Ive got a 1.4 8v Ibiza with a custom made stainless pipe, from the manifold back, no cat nothing, just a backbox. It pops and gives that irregular beating sound of a rally car when it idles and rasps in the rev range. Anyways, i like the fire idea, no bones about it, im a firebug. Any ideas on how some nice exit flames without a flame kit? Bit corny imo. Did someone mention boosting the fuel injection? How is this done? Is there a way to do it temporarily, ie not permanent and what other methods are there. Thanks for any feedback.

PS Has anyone came across a high lift cam for my engine? Searched around, i dont see any, not amused...every other 1.4 on the planet can get one (obv slight exaggeration)
