Hi guys,

Basically i have a set of porsche boxster S calipers that i bought for the ibiza!

Now, does anybody know what size discs these run on the boxster? I am thinking of doing 312mm, making up my own carrier and gong from there!

I havent yet chanegd the hose arragement, but i assume a soft line change would be all?

Anybody done this or similar who could shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance

Here, there and everywhere ;)
305mm ICR discs, custom caliper carriers and ICR hoses..all sat in my garage along with my Porsche calipers

Will also need to machine the caliper to allow the disc to pass through the pad stop pins.

Mine will be going on once the calipers are refurbed and my pads come

Som im slightly torn on what to do now tbh!

ICR?? what is that (sorry its early and all i can think of similar is LCR)

I dont suppose i could grab some exact measurements off your carriers to copy them and make some up?

so i know they are spot on? pleaseeeeeeeee

im afraid thats the response i got from bill too, and also another user on here that has done the conversion and also wasnt impressed with the results.
tbh i took their advise and binned my plans for porsche calipers, sold em on and bought an ibiza cupra r (icr) brembo set up( yet to be fitted). as ive said before it depends what you want from them, if you just want to look cool and scene then porsche brakes MAY be ok for you, but if your going down the power route and need to be able to stop. then MAYBE their not :drive2:

Having been in a 300bhp+ Mk6 GTI Golf i was more than impressed with the stopping capabilities of the setup..may be different on Ibizas though due to master cylinder size etc.

ICR = Ibiza Cupra R

The carriers were made on a spare hub so dont have the measurements, sorry.

Cupra-Gaz - im going to try mine, if they dont live up to expectations then off they come to be replaced with a different setup, may go AP or Tarox :)

Im just unsure whether its worth a try!

It will cost me less to get these on, than it will buying performance pads and discs for the standard set up as all i need is are 305mm/312mm discs.

so about £100 to get these fitted as i will make brackets myself, even if i bought them there only £180! so thats a cheap brake set up!

But the last thing i want is sub-standard performance!

thats what i thought, if you can get em on cheaply enough then yeah worth a try, but i literally only had the porsche calipers and everything else i would have bought and in total would have cost around £600. i thoght what the hell, spend a bit extra and get somthin i know works well and is a direct bolt on.
if you do decide to go for it then keep us posted, would be interested to hear you final views
