Hi gang,

Here is a pic of my 2017 300.

I picked her up 3 weeks ago and I am loving her.

61k miles.

Just treated her to a new set of Conti Sport Contact 7’s, a DSG, Haldex, Oil and full service including spark plug change.

She is completely stock apart from me changing the reverse bulb to an LED.

Every fart, pop and bang brings such a smile to my face. I’m 47 and it makes me feel like I am 17 again.

I heavily read this forum before purchasing and found it invaluable.

Nice. I've got a 300 manual in Mystery blue. I'm 45 and yeh it does make you feel younger. Every time im approaching the car to get in a huge smile comes across my face and I've had mine for over 2 years now. I'll be getting a new exhaust probably this summer just to accentuate the pops and bangs a little. Nothing daft though.

Sounds delicious. Great colour too.
Make sure you share a before and after when you get the new pipes fitted.

Hope I pass you on the road one day!

I was 70 when I bought my Cupra ST300 4drive.

Two years on it still brings a smile to my face every time I drive it.

I've had quickish cars most of my driving career, and back in the 70's rallied a 970cc Mini Cooper S, tuned to develop 100 bhp. The Cupra has exactly the same power to weight ratio but feels much quicker whilst being easy to drive. The Mini ticked over very lumpily and had zero power below 3000 rpm with a 731 half race cam and a 40 thou overbore.

Until your reactions go you are never too old to enjoy a quick car.
