My car is my hobby so for me it’s perfect. If you can afford it why not.
3 days into ownership and I’m loving it.

Is the R version really worth the extra ££s?
Will be looking for a Cupra soon and really love these but there is a significant price difference
Yes if only for the revised suspension/geometry setup making it more exciting to drive than the boring 4drive (in comparison to the FWD).

Can it be done

Front - Not been done before, but would require a LOT of money.

Mirrors - Yes think you can buy them from ebay about £50

Rear - Semi dynamic - Yes buying a wiring loom on ebay again about £50
Rear - Full dynamic - Yes but you need deep pockets and have to send your lights off to somewhere in Sweden along with about £1,200.

Why would you want dynamic signals anyway? Not a fan at all.
Worse when you have half a job like dynamic mirrors but rears aren't dynamic. If you are going to go dynamic it needs to be done properly at least.

Picked up this beauty today. Loving the Boheme Purple. 18 plate 1.8 TSI FR DSG with 800 miles on the clock. Bit miffed it doesn’t have front parking sensors, didn’t even think to check because I thought all FRs had them as standard, little did I know...

Nice looking car and in my wife’s favourite colour.

The front parking sensors were removed from the FR a while ago as previous models I had did have front and rear parking sensors.

My wife had a 67 plate Leon Xcellence in Boheme Purple and that did come with from parking sensors as well as heated seats. She was gutted when I chanted it for a 68 plate Leon FR Black in Desire Red.

Very Nice. Would never have chosen that colour from the catalogue (went for Desire Red with Mrs Seriously's ST), but it looks really good.

Finally got the Milltek RS3 exhaust tips installed with the Rieger rear diffuser. And TRC front splitter, along with a rear wiper delete and a deep post-winter clean.
