taxed the LC and started smoking it about on fri , hadn't really looked at it to close other than changing the head unit since it was delivered due to being a bit poorly, I am more than a little surprised to find it has no MFA, and no boot light, no boot light on a car at this level wtf ? it does go rather well though.

oh that yes i have one of those i thought it might be something exciting i didnt know about, i found a red distress flare signal on my dads jdm impreza once ,standard over there apparantley , sometimes dealers remove the bulbs so the battery doesnt drain could be just missing

Mine hasn't got a mfa ( fuel thingy bob what ya call it doberry ) and it has full speck everything else. Not going to cry about it though. Saying that , I prob would be crying if I did have one!! Mpg is shocking at the moment. Don't want a stupid computer to tell me I'm getting feck all to the gallon.

Nope nothing missing, me and the mrs searched the boot space area yesterday, no empty holes, that should have a light unit in, it just doesn't have one.

Has anyone else got a 180 mk 1 Cupra with no fuel computer, or has someone changed a broken windscreen wiper stalk with one from a non computer model cos it's all they could find at the time, come to that has anyone else got one with no boot light.

2002 AUQ and I have a boot light. On the left as I look in. It's up in the resess area just below were the shelf rests. It's never worked though.

I also don't have the fuel computer. Don't really see a need for it either.

i have an 03 AUQ and i have trip computer, average miles, miles till fill up... mpg on the trip and mpg ongoing

Maybe it was included after the facelift?

button is on the end of the indicator stalk i believe, scrolls from clock to mpg info, miles left in tank etc

I agree with 03cupra. Seems the older cupras didn't have trip. Mines on a y plate auq .

The very first ones had radio info in the oval bit between the clocks.
I tried to retro-fit the fuel comp to my 2001 LC but never quite got there before it was sold.

That's what mine has got ...... Well did have until i changed the head unit

They don't have one on the early cupra's because nobody cared about MPG then i suppose??

yeh same here I have all that as well.
mine is a 2003 regs in sept cupra 180 (facelift also) boot lid is on the left side of the boot
