Not cheaply, I got quoted 250 per mirror to replace a damaged folding one. Piss take as its only a 50 pound optional extra

Welcome by the way :)

To turn them back out, turn the dial 180 degrees back to the bottom.

The windows can be opened by pressing the unlock button on the central locking key, so just hold it and the windows go down till you stop holding it and you can open it at any height you want. And for closing them when out of the car, hold the lock button and they go back up!

Great use for in the summer to leave a small gap.

Does the SC Sport 2010 have this have wondered for ages but never thought of asking?

Depends on MY and whether they were specced or not. Try twisting the mirror dial all the way round.
If it goes, it has, if it doesn't it hasn't

It'd be nice if the car would tell the mirrors to be up/down dependant on if the engine is switched on or not. Turning the dial isn't the pain, it's the remembering to do it.

Resurrecting this, another lurker who joined up in need of information! Does anybody know if it is possible to set the mirrors to automatically fold when locking the car? With or without VCDS?

Concerned I might break them in the frost mornings.
My wife has a ford fiesta 14 plate with electric folding mirrors.
When you lock or unlock the car mirrors close and open.
