Power steering fluid leak.... advice please

Just come back from a weekend away and had left my car on the drive, when I moved the car I noticed a small damp patch on the drive, never really thought much of it as it had been cold on a night so thought maybe a bit of condensation had gathered and dropped on the drive when I moved the car.
Took the car out for a quick spin (about 60+ miles) and all is well until we get a mile from home. Car starts making a loud whining sound when I steer left & right so pops the bonnet up when we get back and checked the power steering fluid & it's well below min. After looking a bit more I can see some staining on the pipe coming off the front of the power steering res, from around the spring clip.

Question is, is it a split / damaged flexi pipe or just the spring clip thats on its last legs & time for a proper hose clip to step in????????
Anybody else had the same thing happen?
What power steering fluid should I use as there's not many Seat garages round here?

Car is a 55 plate diesel FR+ 150, no engine mods.

Give the pipe a clean up and check it again at some point, if there's a leak there it'll be obvious in which case you'll need to investigate, they can leak anywhere really and this stuff is fine.

Cheers for that, didn't really have chance to have a proper look last night so will investigate further today. Will top it up and have a look to see if it's just a one off or there's a problem.
