Power steering Fluid

Does anyone know what spec of Power Steering Fluid to use in my Toledo 1.9TDI SE 2001 ?..............looked in my manual & to be honest doesn't tell me anything about how to check the level let alone what spec to use..........also done a search on this site but can not find any reference.
