Dubbmeister and their local distributors are the only FULLY UK LEGAL supplier of pressed plates, don't get confused with any ebay ones, even ebay ones that ain't pressed, i would bet a large majority are illegal, any doubts check this :

hobbiniho... thinking about it I dont know about the extra detail - I never looked into because I was getting the german font! Sorry mate!

I think in Berkshire the max penalty is a £2000 fine and 6 points, ouch! doesnt really seem worth it so I took mine off.

yeh its just not worth it for the sake of a few number plates

Just found out that Pat Williams in Barnstaple (and I would imagine the Cornwall branch too) make legal pressed plates for around £28.
