Problem Coding Key

I have a similar problem... On mine Seat Cordoba the central locking works fine with the key (altough driver side started to work worse than before...) and activate the alarm corectly. I tried to recode the remote fob with no success... When u say doors closed, u mean just closed or locked as well? Just to be sure
I think i might have some sort of problem on my remote fob, will try to find another to change it, hope I'll find a suitable one.

Ditto. My alarm went off recently and now the remote refuses to function. I can lock the door and activate the alarm with the key, but when I open it (with the key) I have to dive in and get the ignition turned on asap else the alarm goes off.

I've tried re-programming the key using the prescribed method, but no luck.

anyone got an idea?

Hi I am a new member and had problems with my central locking. Tried all that was said no luck. So I took key to pieces and cleaned all contacts to battery and haypressto it now works.
