Problem with Air con!

Wonder if any one can help? I turned my air con off last night, and when i turned it on again the frost symbol only appeared when i held the air con button in! Has anyone had this? The climate temp is still working as is the fan!

Do a search mate

Countless posts on this subject... The aircon will not come on when the outside temp is less than 4 or 5 degrees.

It's actually in the handbook of the car too

it turns off the compressor to stop it icing up and killing itself

As the man said a quick search would have found this info
