Hi all, I just took delivery of a new Leon FR in Candy white and have noticed a problem...while I was cleaning the car I noticed some ripply paint (like sagged paint) on the rear wheel arch.
Start at the position of 3 o'clock on the wheel, then look at the adjacent bodywork just above the stoneguard paint and swage line on the sill, but at the bottom of the wheel arch raidius. It's more predominat on the drivers side but is present on the passeger side.
I have checked another white FR and it had it too. But not any other colour I've looked at.
It's being done under warranty, dealer was quite stunned by it TBH. No quibble.
I think they may have a process issue with Candy White, maybe it needs alot of paint to go on to get the colour depth since it's a light pigment???
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has a similar problem.
Cheers.
