problem with electrics

dose anybody else have this problem when the ignition is on but the engine is not running the side lights seem to come on very dim at back and front and when i press the break pedal the front side lights come on at same time as the brake lights i have tried cleaning all the connectors on the bulbs but i cant think of anything else to try

any help would be good thanks

sounds like an earth problem to me.

check earth offside rear wing in boot remove side trim look bottom corner check earth there comes loose ok

as above, but there may be a separate earth on each side for each cluster.
