Problem with forge FMIC???

Hi guys,

Just fitted FMIC to Ibiza. Had to cut the bumper at the bottom as it sits too low. Has anyone else had to modify bumper? Is this normal??

sounds like it needs adjustment.
bumper crash bar may need adjustment to bring things up.

is this new or 2nd hand?

a new crash bar is supplied with a new Forge FMIC kit

Sounds normal, I had to trim the bottom of the bumper to get mine to fit, more so on the left hand side over the right. You only have ajustment to a degree on the top mount points and also making sure the pipes aren't rubbing on the aircon rad etc.

Yep same thing here, had to take at least half an inch out of the bottom slats.

It hurt me to do it but it looked awesome when done

as comments above, needed botoom trimming and sits slightly lower then bumper but if you have or get a LCR splitter that hides it

Did anyone have to trim anymore? I've got a new bumper to go on and i dont want to be hacking into it like i did with the uni cooler.

Yeah - same here

Mine sits slightly lower than the bumper...

LCR splittter shud sort it !

I had to cut about an inch off the bottom bar, only on the left hand side though.
