Problem

on the way back from SEAT today went to lock my car and the centeral locking woulding work, neither would it ock automaticly when you in the car, also the windows, mirrors and interior light doesnt, so had to go back through and book it in for thursday, anyone no what could be up with it

Dont know sorry. My previous car (alfa romeo) had a "Control Module" that managed much of the electrical devices. This was replaced and cost about £110. Although if this is the same thing as your problem, i dont know.

does it even try to lock when you drive off?
checked fuses?

it supposed t ock but doesnt, im thinking of fuses too

All that stuff is controlled by the central convenience module. Sometimes it throws a wobbler and stops working. Try reseting it by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. Some of those bits stopped working on my mates car at that's what seat did.
