Thanks for the replies lads! I was warned about the arch lining that would need trimming which I'll be doing when its on the ramp tonight but mine is certainly worse than that, its kind of a metal on metal sound and the bounciness would be comical if I didn't have to do 50 miles a day in it! :(

I've been advised it could be just tracking, or that it may well be top mounts or the ARB. Going into my mates garage to be checked out tonight and hopefully a relatively cheap fix! I will let you know the outcome! ;)

Had the tracking done and at the same time had the rear adjusters taken out so its sitting very low!! :)

Now the knocking seems to have gone but there's still a horrible squeaking and ridiculous amount of bounce! :( Any idea's? Mechanic said everything seems fine except the bottom arms which could do with replacing and they're sitting at the wrong angle due to the lowness!

Edit: After talking to a few people about this I think I've figured out why it's so bouncy! Think it might be the fact that I took the helper springs out? Either way they're going back in ASAP which I'm afraid might mean it won't go low enough.

Someone suggested chopping the helpers in half, which sounded dodgy to me but I suppose if they can be run without helpers at all then they should be fine chopped maybe? What do you think?
