probs with central locking

since ive had the car the fob aint worked... if i lock or unlock from the driver door all doors open/close same if i use key in boot lock all lock/unlock. but if i use the key in the passenager door then ONLY the passenager door will lock/unlock ?? if the lock is knackered on that door could that be a possable reason to why the remote fob dont work ???

what year car is it ?

some of the early cars had a passenger lock that is just a lock, no switch installed so will only work from drivers/boot

its a mk2 tolly year 2000. i have done allsorts to resync my fob but still nothing.

would have thought that late it should lock all doors but i'm sure someone will check but door lock issues can cause remote grief but it seems yours lock and unlocks ok from the drivers door

how are you resyncing it - from the door lock/ignition method ?

ive tried most things i have read on here... i have got 2 keys 1xfob and 1xnon remote type. i must have tried atleast 4 ways of resync but nothing. i think i might take the door card off later and see if the wirering in pluged into the pass side one.
