id the rear bolted on in he same way, with just 2 bolts holding it behind the bump strip?

PFs did an amazing job, first class workmanship, although i've heard on the grapevine that they're not taking on anymore custom work.

Yeah sold the car back in May to a lad in Scotland.

Got my charged VR golf back again, but it's going through a BT 1.8T conversion at the mo, build thread in the 'Big Turbo Discussions' forum.

Ispoke to PF About doing mine a few months back, They said that they would still do the resprays but the smoothing etc he was trying to step away from. He did say i could take the car to him and discuss what i wanted doing.

mines off to Puals at PF in a couple of weeks hopefully, full smoothing and respray etc. i fitted the heating in his new offices so its a favour else from what i can gather he wouldn't be doing the smoothing just the spray job.

his new bodyshop in pinnox street is amazing and i wouldn't send my cars anywhere else. hes did my last car and hes doing this one and no doubt do my next.

as you said though he is moving away from th custom stuff now as hes consentrating on high end porsches ferraris mercs and beemers, as he reckons its too time consuming doing it.

Right the car went in today.

Took a quick snap of the front as the work was started. will try and keep an update.but ive given them a camera to get pics on.

making me jelous now. mines off to Pf Autos in about 3 gours for the once over and list the mods then just got to come up with a start date.

fine mate , sounds load sbetter and pulls harder. but every now and again the sleeve comes loose and it blows a bit but thats cause it s miltec dp to scorpion cat back, going to bebtaking it to an exhaust place (ex powerflow) used him on my last car and was spot on. get it done properly and then alter the hangers to get the back box higher and maybe swap the tailpipe design.

its going in fro the cam belt water pump and bearing son thursday then droppin git off friday morning, just going for colour coded and de textured bump strip debadged and the lines on the bumpers smoothing out.
