Just bought a HID kit for my projector head lights, ive been reading through some of the previous threads and it looks like the bulbs are H1 not H7 is that right? What a numpty iam
Have you got them fitted yet? It's a bit of a job ... but the difference in light output and the beam pattern improvement has to be seen to be believed

Na not yet mate, what size are they H1 or H7?

Projectors are H1 and HID bulbs don't fit in them! I had to dismantle the entire unit and dremel out the hole a bit to make the HID bulb fit!
Although since then some people have managed it by careful drilling - personally i'd prefer to take the lights to bits to ensure no sward enters the light unit. Last thing you need with HID voltatges are loose bits of metal floating around.
I ordered H7's WRONG!!! my fault i should have checked, so ive just ordered some H1 bulbs today.... Lets try again!
