i got the parts for £1400 and that was for all of the items in the list below:

sach engineering clutch
jabbasport SMF
quaife ATB diff
diff fitting kit
clutch slave cylinder
clutch master cylinder

bearing in mind that i got all of that with 10% thats pretty good.

i got 10% off my total bill so it would've been just over the 2.2k mark before my discount

Where did you get all that from if you dont mind me asking? Thats a really good price

I hadent really seen any other smf and clutches apart from one at just shy of 1k! But £800 i could stretch to:)

i got my sachs clutch and jabbasport smf for just under £900...... the helix clutch and flywheel kit is a very well talked up bit of kit too tho and undercuts the sachs/jabba price

i got all mine through GI motorsport, the place that did all my work for me.
i get a 10% discount with them and because they are now vendors for Jabbasport remaps they get parts for good prices.
they also get good discounts with forge, awesome gti and samco.
they are more of a specialist in Jap cars but have branched out into VAGs due to the number of customers i've put their way

I can see it now, I'll come back with ATBs, conrods & SEM intake manifolds :D.

I'm not sure how much a diff weighs, about 10kg? I wonder if I'd get away with it in my suitcase (avoiding VAT), I mean we all do it with clothes.

doesn't weigh as much as 10kg...... surely you could manage that in your case ;)
ony thing is then trying to explain why you have automotive parts in your case if you get stopped lol

That's nice to hear, I might fit in a pair of shorts at least then :p. I've never been stopped at customs before, would they really get the @rse over it? I thought that you just walk through the 'nothing to decare' section with the most innocent look you can pull, well that's what I've done in the past when bringing back loads of food & clothes.

Taking it as spares to fix the plane if anything happens to it mid flight:whistle:
How much cheaper are SEM's in the US anyway
