You mean like a boc? I don't like bocs front at all (sorry ppl), and I'm completely in love with my front, I don't want to change it one bit!
Thanks for the idea though. :)

Which 'xenon matching' DRLs did you go for? I am in Cyprus so will be easy to get them from Greece if thats where you got them from. SO no error codes/melting?

Hmm I don't really know the brand. No error codes or other problems. I installed them at a Cargate center (Revo dealer). They had them in the shop, I didn't need to order anything. I'll visit them in the following days as I'll install the Forge intercooler so I'll ask all the info and tell you then.

perfect thanks file mou

did you get the milltek in the end? Its expensive to get here in Cyprus and some say its not much of a sound improvement (I am not getting software so not a power mod, just aesthetic)

I dont wanna go powerflow as its a bit too loud.

Did you get your OZ sorted? I am dropping on KW V1 next month and was hoping the ET38 of the Superturismo GT would sit well - what did you find?

Eimai fili oxi filos! :)
No exhaust yet. Probably in September I'll fit the exhaust, not sure about Milltek though as the Milltek representative here doesn't get along with the Revo dealer and I don't want to have any warranty issues. I think I'll go for the Blueflame. I don't know the powerflow and I haven't seen any of the other branded exhausts in person, everyone here seems to prefer a custom one.
The Superturismo GT are very pretty! No I think my wheels are gonna have to wait cause with all the mods in the family (my fiance started modding his Edition 30) we'll go completely off our budget! Ha ha
P.S. If you want sound enhancement why not remove the middle part of the exhaust. It makes the cupra sound like a 3 liter!

LOL sorry Nassia - shoulda realised - ta elinika mou einai beninta stis exaton - I'm a charlie! Yeah thats the excuse ;p

Sorry to hear about your budget woes. I have been in the same boat for ages but fingers crossed I found a buyer for my Ducati so if that goes through I'll treat the Cupra to a new toy or 2 ;p

Are blueflame making one? Nothing on their website...? Youtube has a vid of the powerflow one.....bit ricey for me but maybe thats coz I'm a bit old

i'm getting either the OZ (in black) or some Team Dynamics as they are machined to order so I know I can make them fit. Will wait and see how the drop works out. ED 30 - very nice.

Hi Charlie! lol
Hope the Ducati selling goes well. I haven't checked their website but there's a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opqjqWJzHvU. You're right the powerflow is a bit ricey. I don't want the cupra sounding like a truck!
Team dynamics you say, this is the one for me:

especially with a white painted perimeter.
What's that machined to order? Could you explain a bit because I really need a to fit 225/40/18 tires because I want the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup, and that's the smallest size available!
Yeah, the edition 30 is a lovely and powerful car when you mod that K04, I don't stand a chance! We have a video of it racing a friend's stage 2 cupra so you can see what happens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hb8oBj-ArA

those are the ones.

The size is made to order so you tell them the PCD and ET, 4 weeks then they are sent to the dealer you bought them from - so i'm told anyway

JC - they do look the nuts dont they.

I am either going to get 17x7.5 to accommodate some new brakes or stick with OEM size. Just have to wait till end of June for the KW to arrive....tick tock

jc - agree - do you know what ET i need on a 7.5 width?

also, the tyre place here says same tyre width is fine from what I am running on the OEM 17x7 = 215/40/17....i have my doubts

p.s sorry to hijack you're thread Nassia but maybe you know too?

Thanks! So I hope I can fit the sport cups then!
I found this site/calculator, you need to write the dimensions of your current wheels and the wheels you want to get and it tells you if they fit, clearance etc. Now that you don't know the et you can try some figures and see what works. http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

I also found this tool http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp, so if you go from 7 to 7.5 and you select 37 as offset you will have the same inner clearance and your new wheels will extend an extra 12mm. Sounds pretty good. Also you can keep the same tire size, there will be a bit of stretch but nothing abnormal (I have some US buddies that extremely stretch their tires and have no problems), that way your 215 will look almost like 225.

Thanks nassia - helpful links

Think 17x7.5 ET45 would work as thats only 3mm out from OEM 17x7 ET43 according to that calculator (so essentially ET41 in the end from what it is currently)

Just hope they still do them in matt black :)

You're welcome.
Just bare in mind while using the second link with width 7.5 and et41 the inner clearance will be 4mm less, and with et45 8mm less, which means closer to the suspension etc. Sounds like a small difference but you'd better check that cupras have that much space left. I personally would go for et37 as that would have the same inner clearance as now and will only extend 12mm.

I see what you mean. Thing is though 1.2cm is a big extension. I may just opt for OEM size to be 100% and explore tarox slim calipers. Some say TAROX are loud brakes as they are track focused but who knows?

Out of interest - how much did milltek greece quote you for the catback alone?

As far as brakes are concerned all I know is that soundwise slotted are better than drilled. Unfortunately I know the prices for turboback exhausts as that is what I want. So Milltek TBE installed costs 1500 euros.

I see

Nassia - any news on the DRLs? BTW I am speaking with the tuner in Cyprus who is getting my KW about exhaust alternatives in the region so I will keep you posted.

Thanks
