Quick one for those with 18s

swopped over my standard my03 speedline 17s this morning for 18s with 225/40/18 tyres-what pressure should i really be running these at?

i put 32-33psi in the fronts and about 30 in the rear on my LCR

They have 32 in them lol!

32 all round is fine, keep an eye on them and tweak the pressure if necessary.

What load rating are your tyres? The Leon is quite a heavy car so with 40 profile tyres I'd say you'd be better with an XL (extra load) tyre at 32psi.

Might be tempted by a touch more pressure if they are lower load rating (think for "Y" rated tyres the load index is 88 for standard tyres and 92 for XL)

I'm pretty sure the manual says 33 all round.

well my fuel cap said 33-but thats was for 17s
now its 18s

Sorry Rik I meant the LCR manual with the 18's
