Hi all,

So just got myself a Leon and already planning my first upgrade.

Apologies if this has been asked before. Hope its specific enough that not many have.

So been doing my research for this and getting a old cheap Android tablet, obdeleven pro, combined humidity light sensor and finally the auto switch.

So my question, looking at the switch I found a post with the part no 5G0941431AF which indeed looks like mine except with the auto position as well. Now there seems to be other variants with slightly different part numbers but they look exactly the same. Are these a no go or just older revisions? Just wondering if its as simple as, find one that looks right (although I'm guessing its not and you need a particular part no)?

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys/girls can give.

That's the correct part number for a switch from another Leon.

Any other variants of that part number are normally from different cars (Golf/A3) which have different colour lights.
I struggled to find a genuine switch for mine and had to pay a premium for it, but you can get genuine golf auto switches for a lot cheaper, but the lights aren't correct.

The correct lights should be red, but the Golf uses white.

Ah, that makes sense. I'd rather have the right coloured backlight.

Typed the part number into google and now looking at breakers yards in the Netherland, better work on my dutch lol.
The prices aren't bad but now waiting to hear just how much shipping will be. :headhurt:

On a related note. Found the rain sensor for £41.33. Does that seem competitive? See its a widely used VAG part so lots around
