the 110 is 5 yes,,, but I guess the 1.8T too,,,

anyway, I was looking on the EIP site and there's a quite wide selection of short shifters for many cars,,, the prices are quite decent too,,, now I REALLY want one,,,

http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/shortshifts.html

the side to side and front to back kit works out at $118.2 which, according to yahoo converter is €86.71,,, less than the used 1.8T quickshifter I was looking to,,, :D

some may say lala land....
sorry basstard, the link you mention is what i was thinking off.

If you have a browse around the MK1 section, you'll see quite a few threads on this subject. Those that order an EIP sometimes cancel as they are very very difficult to get hold of and use forge instead. Not sure how it would work out for shipping to Italy though.

the EIP seems the most economical for now,,,

Jabba costs way more and the forge, neuspeed and jbs sites make no mention of a hosrt shifter for my car,,,

btw, does this reduce just the throw or does it also give a better feel?
